Thursday's Thoughts.

-First, I'd like to apologize to my seester for not giving her an official Happy Birthday blog post. She turned 26 this past Sunday and still looks 16. It runs in the family.
I met her and her boyfriend, Aneeth, out for a few drinks after work Saturday and on Sunday, we did the family celebration at our parent's house.
She's actually on a plane right now to Iowa where she will meet up with my Aunt Debbie and then they will drive to Omaha to watch some of the College World Series! So jealous! Would have been even better if the Gamecocks hadn't lost on Tuesday..but I guess you can't win every year.

-And an early Happy Birthday shout out to my wonderful sister-in-law, Kara! I seriously hit the jackpot with the in-laws, y'all. They are all so awesome and so fun to hang out with!

-Loving my new skirt I got from Bashful Boutique in West Ashley.
Cameron, it's Emily's fault, she made me go in there.

-Thank you to all of my readers for your super kind comments on all of our wedding photos! Thank you for letting me relive that day in multiple, multiple posts. And I'm still not done yet! I always loved seeing real weddings during my planning, seeing and hearing about specific details, so I'm hoping that you all feel the same way!
-I've been working with Lauren on designing a new look for the blog and I am SO excited with how it is turning out so far!! Thank you to Katie for recommending her to me!

-Look at all of these gorgeous flowers I got to take home with me after last Saturday's work wedding! Since Cameron has the worst allergies, he convinced me to give half of them away. It didn't take much convincing though because we gave them to his sweet grandmother, mom, and my sister.
Look how humongous this peony is!

-Brady gave Cameron and I a scare last night. Cameron fed him a piece of table scrap (naughty, I know) and he started doing this weird breathing thing. After calling our vet friend, Justin, he told us that he was probably reverse sneezing. What?!? I've never heard of that before! He said people frequently bring their dogs to the emergency vet because they think they're choking.

Here is a You Tube video to show you what it looks like just in case your dog does it.

  1. My dog reverse sneezes all the time and it is the freakiest thing ever! Sounds so weird! My vet told me the same thing and told me to look at Youtube haha.

Love the skirt you got--super cute! And LOVE seeing the wedding pics! Since Im in the planning process, it's awesome to see real weddings, like you said

  2. Those flowers are freaking amazing. And the reverse sneezing is terrifying but I have heard about it. Thanks for putting that out there. And you know how much I love looking at your wedding photos :)

  3. I'm so glad to hear about reverse sneezing! My dog does it all the time and we always worry about her! Its good to know it's nothing scary! And that peony is the biggest I've ever seen!!

  4. Buoy does it all the time!!! And of course, I freak out every time.

  5. those flowers are beautiful an yes seeing real weddings is soo helpful.

  6. I am so jealous of all those flowers!!! My blog is getting a redesign and I posted a dog video today. Haha I am obvi riding your brainwave! Happy Friday Eve!

  7. My dog reverse sneezes ALL THE TIME! It terrified me the first time it happened, but he's just fine.

  8. My dog does that all the time and it always freaks me out! Glad to know it isn't something crazy! Those flowers are so pretty...what a nice job perk!

  9. Yes Yes Yes, I totally enjoy reading real weddings while I'm still planning mine, so keep em comin! :)
And I didnt even think about the flowers....should I make arrangements to give mine to someone after our wedding? Because obviously I will be out of town the day after! :)

    1. We had an after wedding brunch thrown for us Sunday morning, since we didn't leave until Monday for our honeymoon, and they just used our flowers from the reception as decorations! I've also heard of people donating them to nursing homes! :)

  10. I can't wait to see the new blog design!! So many pretty flowers you got to take home! Serious job bonus!

  11. Ha! I remember when my friend (Lauren, actually, which is weird since you pseudo-know her now)'s dog started reverse sneezing, she freaked out. She does it all the time and its kind of hilarious. Can't wait to see the redesign :)

  12. I am so glad you posted this about the reverse sneezing- I never knew what my dog was doing and it has always worried me. Thanks for sharing!

  13. I love those flowers! I've seen where people donate them to nursing homes and that's what I plan to do-when the day comes!

My Harper reverse sneezes all the time-so scary!

  14. Oh my gosh I know exactly what you're talking about with Brady. That's scary!

  15. That peony is amazing. It's so cool that you get to bring home flowers from events. And the skirt is really cute!
