Happy Friday!
Hope those of you who are being hit by Tropical Storm Andrea are being safe! Luckily, I don't have to be in to work today until 3:30pm so I'll be snuggled in my bed until the heavy stuff passes.
Here is what I've been loving lately..
-For the past school year, through his work, Cameron has been mentoring a kindergartener at a local school. He would go on Wednesdays and eat lunch with his mentee and after lunch, take him to the library, sometimes bringing a classmate, as well. I always loved talking to him after his lunch visits, hearing about their conversations. Last week they had a end of the year brunch for all of the volunteers and the mentees' families, from which Cameron sent me this picture.
-Shelby told me about these Famous Dave's Sweet n Spicy pickles from Costco, which I picked up on Tuesday. Even though it's a 1/2 gallon of them, they will not last long. SO good.
-Loving my newest bracelet addition from J.Crew Factory. Will look so good with white jeans and a navy top!
-Monday, since it was pouring rain all day, I went on a much needed organizing/cleaning spree. I started with the hall linen closet and ended with the guest bedroom gift/craft closet.

ReplyDeletei love seeing dudes with little kids...it just melts my heart. but i especially love seeing dudes with kids that aren't even theres. so sweet of cameron to do that.
ReplyDeleteand organizing? once I get on a kick, I can't stop. I love it. one friday night, I organized my "craft bin"...exciting stuff for a friday night.
Working at a school, I can tell you how important mentors are! Love that he does that :)

I love that Cameron has been a mentor this year. As a teacher, I can't say enough how important that is! Love your new bracelet and loving all your organizing. We just moved so I'm spending most of my days unpacking now and I'm committed to every space being perfectly organized.

ReplyDeleteOmg that's so sweet of Cameron. Love the pic. I had those pickles at Justin's and they are GOOD!!! I need some. Just need to stalk someone with a Costco membership. Love that bracelet. I bet it would look really pretty with yellow too. Maybe? Shoot, I can't match.

ReplyDeleteAnd way to go with that organization! I am planning to work on some projects like that this summer (and try to get Bryce to part with some things, ha...we'll see how that goes!).
