Twin Tuesday

Just a few random updates today!

  • My best friend had these adorable bibs monogrammed for the boys! Sneak peek of their initials, but keeping their names off the interwebs for now.

  • At my last appointment 3 weeks ago I had gained a total of 15 pounds. Interested to see what the scale at next week's appointment says! Either way, it doesn't matter to me how much weight I gain (ok, within reason), as long as my boys are getting big and strong!
  • My 23 week bump pic!

  • We have been blessed by tons of hand-me-downs! Seriously so many clothes and tons of baby gear!

  • The nursery is starting to look like a nursery! We've painted, cleaned the carpet, and assembled the cribs. I've washed all of the clothes and blankets we've been given in yummy smelling Dreft, and have hung up all of their "nice" clothes in the closet. I'm hoping to get the dresser, that originally lived in the guest room, painted on Sunday. With all of the unknowns that come with having twins, I want to get as much done as soon as possible!

  • Everyone always asks how I'm feeling. The answer is pretty good, other than this back pain in the middle of my back, right side only. I went to the doctor last week for a urine sample to rule out a UTI or kidney infection and everything came back normal. It really only bothers me when I'm driving or sitting at my computer. Any advice??

  1. You and the bump are adorable! So happy that so many people are giving you clothes, etc! That has to help since you've got two to plan and buy for!

  2. Chiropractor for the back pain! I am a chiropractor and I got regular adjustments throughout my pregnancy to help with the discomfort. Perfectly safe!!

  6. You look great, mama!! I haven't been on the blog in forever (having a baby takes up a lot of time - I can only imagine with two!!) so this is the first time I'm seeing the pregnancy posts!! Congrats <3

  7. You look so cute! Can you try an exercise ball for the computer, at least part of the time? I've also had some friends who had luck with a chiropractor and I got some great prenatal massages. Totally worth the time and money because you need to be feeling as good as possible because late pregnancy and the early months with baby(ies) will be exhausting!

  9. Congrats on the twin boys! Love your blog and can't wait to follow along in this journey! Can you recommend a monogram shop in Charleston that's reasonable? I'm in West Ashley, but willing to drive for a recommended place! :-) Thank you!

    2. Hi Megan, a follow-up to my monogram inquiry! This might be helpful with your boys' new stuff! I was referred to someone in West Ashley. Good prices and great quality. Twisted Stitches Monogramming on FB. https://m.facebook.com/CharlestonTwistedStitches/
I dropped off/picked up, so no shipping was needed. She lives in the Melrose neighborhood in WA.
