Friday Five.

We made it! Friday is here! This week actually went by pretty fast for me and I am not complaining about that!
Here are 5 things that made me happy this week..
{one}
The team at Staples was kind enough to send me a Starbucks Verismo brewers that you can use to make regular coffee, and even lattes! Until they sent me an email, I had no idea that they even sold Starbucks products! The fact that I could make a caramel macchiato or a vanilla latte in less than a minute, in my own home, was definitely the most appealing aspect to me. The machine itself is a lot narrower than a Keurig machine, which means it takes up less space on your counter. Staples was also kind enough to send me a gift card so I could pick up some additional pods and flavored syrup! Just a pump or two of the vanilla syrup in the bottom of your mug, brew the espresso pod, then brew the milk pod and voila! You have yourself a vanilla latte. I will be honest, it doesn't taste exactly like it came from Starbucks, but it is pretty darn close!

Yesterday after work, I went on a nice long walk with Katie, Baby Ashton and our pups. We stopped by Emily's house and picked her up for a short walk, too. She is about to pop because..her due date is TODAY! It's not looking like he'll be here today, or even this weekend, so if Emily makes it until Tuesday, that is the day she'll be induced and we all get to meet sweet Lane!! So excited!!
Ashton all bundled up and ready to go!

On Wednesday, my co-worker and I attended the Sysco Food Show for work. It was so much fun walking around and taste testing all of the different vendor's products. I came across Sallie's Greatest Jams and was extremely excited. I remembered reading about Sallie's on Charlotte's blog because they are from the same small town of Cameron, SC. Sallie makes the most delicious jams I have ever tasted. That day I got to taste the strawberry basil, blackberry spice + sage, peach pepper + ginger, and my favorite, blueberry + lavender. The blueberry + lavender jam was especially delicious on a small piece of french bread topped with blue cheese, then the jam. You can order directly from the website or pick some up at Whole Foods!

Not sure how many of you enjoy college football, especially signing day, but on Wednesday, the Gamecocks had a lot of great players commit to playing football and attend our wonderful university. One being Darin Smalls, from my highschool! I think it will be really exciting to cheer on a player that was once a Greenwave, just like me! Even though AJ Green went to Georgia, I always had a soft spot in my heart for him for the same reason. And now he's doing big things in the NFL!

Loving this outfit.
Those darts on the dress would make anyone's waist look teeny tiny, and I am always a fan of stripes.
 Link up with April, Christina, and the rest of the girls for 5 on Friday!
