-I wave back to the mascots (Serta sheep, Statue of Liberty tax person, etc) that have to stand on the side of the road and wave to cars as they drive by. I just feel like their jobs have to be so boring so they need a little acknowledgement to brighten their day! :)
-Joyful, Joyful from the movie Sister Act is GUARANTEED to put me in a good mood and get me pumped up. I asked my wedding singer to sing it during my reception, but then later thought it might be awkward if I was the only one on the dancefloor jamming out to it, and changed my mind. It was, however, the song that Cameron and I walked back down the aisle to as husband and wife. Had to get it in there somewhere.
-After reading Taylor's post yesterday about her diary entries from middle school, I started feeling really paranoid. What exactly did I do with my old diaries? Did I remember to destroy them once I moved out of my parents house? Are they still "hidden" there somewhere? Did my parents find them and read them??? How embarrassing that would be. Mom and Dad, if you ever do come across them, please burn immediately. Trust me, just do it. -I haven't made anything on our dinner menu yet this week. Monday night Cameron had a work dinner to attend (that he forgot to tell me about) and last night we went to visit his Grandmother and ate at Jason's Deli instead of cooking. Whoops.
-Next month is our one year anniversary!! SERIOUSLY!?!?
Can you believe it's almost already been a year? I remember reading all of your wedding posts, and I'm just shocked that 12 months have almost already passed!
It's been a year already?! I read that post and thought the same thing. I need to find those diaries, I remember a few entries that were written and should never be read haha
Ahhh almost one year?! That is so exciting!!!! Annnnd I found my diaries when my mom moved out of our house...good lord it was embarrassing, yet hilarious. Happy Wednesday, doll! Xx.
My middle school diary left my moms house, traveled with me to my apartment, and O found it when he moved in AND decided to read it. Without my knowledge. Mortified!!!
Happy almost one year! I still have my many journals/diaries floating around (I never could seem to finish one because I found another one I liked more). And my boyfriend decided he wanted to read one -- I told him I must really love him if I left him read that embarrassment!
I always feel sorry for those poor people who have to stand on the side of the road too. Maybe I should start waving at them! I had an online diary so i dont have to worry about my mom finding it because I can't even remember the password to it!
The music from Sister Act 2 is the BEST! As part of a high school writing assignment, we had to write a letter to our future selves, to be sent 10 years later...not only did my mom open and read mine several times, she wanted to talk to me about it ;p ugh. I guess not as bad as a diary, but still.
ONE YEAR already! Insaneness!!!!
ReplyDeletei love the first one!

Thank you for shout out! And I'm still missing one diary... And it's the diary when things started to get juicy in my life. I understand your fear.
