Wedding Wednesday: Moo Cards.

What is a moo card, you may ask?
Up until recently, I had no idea, but after doing some research I've found that they are tiny cards, about half the size of a business card, used for small bits of info in weddings, and in real life.

Their most common uses in weddings are for photographers to hand out at the wedding to the guests with the link to view the pictures taken.

Another use, and the one I'm considering, is to include in the invitation suite, to provide a link to your wedding website one last time. Mainly for accomodation options and directions to venue.

To moo, or not to moo, that is the question!
What are your thoughts on them??

  1. I thought about doing those but when I started stuffing all the envelopes and stamping etc the LAST thing I wanted to do was tie them with a bow and add something else.. It honestly took me a day and half to stuff and stamp them all.. Whew. We didn't even put accommodations in our invites but people figured it out. Unfortunately too a lot of room blocks expire a month before the wedding so by the time the invites go out it may be too late. (Which is stupid!!) I just kept sharing my website on facebook and with the family. That being said, I DO like the moo cards and think they are very cool and informative!

  2. I didnt realize they had a name. We had smaller cards in our invitations that layered with all our information even our website( it was listed on the card for accomodations). We did use these however at our wedding with the website where our wedding photos would be located and our photographer even gave us a date they would be there. We put an engagement pictures on some and I put some bridal pictures and put them on the tables for guests!

  5. We did these with our save the dates. Mostly because I am an idiot and didnt include the website info on the actual save the date!

  8. I personally love looking at wedding websites etc. and not everyone (like older folks) have Facebook or other social media ways to receive the website online, so the Moo cards would be a great way to get your website info out there to guests!

  9. so we're not using MOO but we are having our stationery guru make these for us! our insert card will be business-card sized and will only include our website address. everything's online, so why spend more to repeat it?

  12. I like the MOO cards. We have been contemplating them for our wedding, but haven't made a final decision yet. I do like the idea of including them in the invite, but was afraid it would get lost. I might do something and have them out on the tables or attached to the favors at the reception.

  13. Go for it! We just ordered an extra insert from our stationery store. We basically just said all information could be found on our wedding website. Unfortunately, many adults seem to struggle with reading for comprehension. Half of them didn't realize we had two hotels to choose from, and the other half didn't even mention our names when they made the booking, so they didn't save any money. Sometimes, all anyone needs is a good reading lesson.
