Getting ready for Snowpocalypse 2014 in Charleston!
My Wisconsin neighbors are laughing at us.
But what can we say? We never see weather like what is about to hit us so we are not as prepared. What's especially crazy is that yesterday it was pushing 70* here!
I took the day off today, rather than driving 45 minutes to and from work and potentially facing freezing roads and bridges. Turns out, they decided to close the building at noon, so I would have been fine. Tomorrow I was already scheduled off, so that worked out well.
Perfect excuse to stay in lounge wear for the next day and a half.
I have to say I don't envy those temperatures but I do envy the concept of "snow day"!
ReplyDeleteIf I had those cups and saucers they'd be filled with wine and stacked with cheese right about now in front of a roaring fire. Alas, stuck at the office. For now...
ReplyDeletestay warm and safe! xo jillian - cornflake dreams

Glad you can stay in and be safe!! I've been totally lounging too, wish I had those slippers though!
ReplyDeleteIce is no bueno! Be careful!
ReplyDeleteThe fact that y'all are getting snow too isn't helping my "let's move to Charleston!" case...
ReplyDeleteI never thought I'd see a snow day here in Austin. We had one on Friday and then another on again today. While I was working from home, it was pretty nice to do in my jammies.

I have those Ugg slippers! I live in them.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the snow day! We got another 2 inches up here and got a 2 hour delay (they're being a lot more strict with letting us have days off, now that we've already used up all of our snow days). Hope you enjoy the cuddle time inside, and stay warm!!
ReplyDeleteI need to move one state north so I can cozy up with some Uggs and have a snow day! This looks so comfy!
ReplyDeleteDid Charleston get any snow in the end? Columbia finally did get some and I thoroughly enjoyed laying around watching movies for two days.
ReplyDeleteJoining you from Five on Friday and sooooo glad to be a new follower!! all of these are great and we applied almost all of them to our snow days here in wilmywood. :) Happy Friday!
