Friday Five.

{one}
A year ago today, I was walking the streets of Charleston (no, not like that) with my wedding dress on..hair and make up done..feeling like a model. Mom, sister, BFF, Brady, and amazing photographer by my side. Having my bridal portraits taken! I seriously felt like a model that day. Was so nervous that someone I knew was going to drive by and see my in my wedding dress, but the attention of the strangers walking by definitely made me feel like a celeb. haha!

My co-worker gave me a bottle of the Philosophy Total Matteness to try, and boy am I hooked! It does exactly what it says on the bottle. It sucks up the oil on your face and leaves you with smooth skin and shrunken pores.

Let's face it, the majority of us shop at Target atleast once a week. Why not save a little money on purchases you would normally make anyway? First, download the Cartwheel app by Target. From there, you can search for items on your shopping list and browse through their weekly list of items. Each item listed will be a certain % off! Select and save your items to your "cartwheel" and the person at the register will scan your phone and bam! Automatic savings.
Want to save an extra 5% on top of that? Sign up for the Target debit REDcard (drawn from your checking account). You will receive a 5% discount on your total purchase amount in store and online! If you also use your REDcard online, you will receive FREE SHIPPING, no minimum amount!

Before yesterday, I used the same bronzer (Bare Minerals) for probably over 5 years. When I ran out of my last little bit, I decided it was time to switch it up. Enter Smashbox Bronze Lights bronzer. Really liking it so far. It's not shimmery and can be built up to be as dark as you'd like. It also has a nice, subtle, fresh smell. Winner in my book!

Oyster season (and thankfully, now weather) is upon us! Kicking it off tonight by having a few friends over to enjoy some and I cannot wait!! I even (politely) passed up Cameron's offer of taking me out to eat at a nice restaurant tonight just because I wanted oysters that bad! Rain check, Cameron? :)
I used to be scared of the big slimy ones, but now I embrace them.
I do not embrace the super short haircut anymore though.

  4. The cartwheel app has been killing my bank account. It gives me an excuse to go to target bc now I know what's on sale! Grr!!! So do you get to fish for the oysters and then eat them?! Or do you just eat them? I'm 99% sure I sounds like an idiot right now..

  24. Just started following your blog and stalked your bridal portraits. So amazed. (And let's be real, any portraits that include a dog - even more so a Golden - are top notch in my book!)
