I'm so excited to share the china cabinet reveal with y'all this morning! If you follow me on Instagram, you got a sneak peek last night. After sitting in our garage for months, Cameron finally gave me a deadline of getting it done by Mother's Day since we were having everyone over for brunch. Deadlines give me motivation.
It turned out 10x better than I expected it to!

My Grandma Anna and Cameron's Rara - The two wonderful women who passed down their china to us as wedding presents. Would you believe that they had the EXACT same china? And it was passed down to them, too! Talk about meant to be. :)

Megan, it looks awesome! You did such a good job. I love it and how special both grandmas had the same china. My sister got my grandmothers china and I got her sterling silver silverware. Deadlines always help me too, I wish Matt would give me one for painting the den, the paint has been sitting out for over a month!
ReplyDeleteLove this!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSAME china?!!! Meant to be, for sure!
ReplyDeleteLove the cabinet, it turned out so well! Maybe you could do a tutorial for us not so crafty people? Kevin wants us to refinish a table but I have NO CLUE how!
You guys did such a great job! I love the color on the inside, for just a slight pop of color!

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I have a few "fate" things like ya'lls china and I love the feeling it gives me when I think of those things. Glad you can feel that too!
ReplyDeleteAnd a big WOW!!!! That looks amazing- seriously, you made it look so new chic. Great DIY Megan.
Looks incredible! You did an awesome job.
ReplyDeleteThis looks so great Megan! Like AMAZING! I'm going to be repainted some bookshelves in a few weeks and this gives me great inspiration. Did you have to sand the wood before painting? Did you use a brush or a roller? And those lights! Are they just battery operated? Sorry for the question overload...I just can't get over how great it looks! Great inspiration:)
ReplyDeleteY'all did such a great job! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThe china cabinet looks great! How special to have china handed down from both sides of your family and have it match as well!
