Happy Friday!
Hopefully the fact that this is my third post this week will mean I'll get back into the swing of things.
Here are five things that have been making me happy this week..
{one}
Capri candle in Volcano
Everyone always raves about this candle, and now I know why. The scent fills up an entire room in no time.
{two}
I took advantage of the Nordstrom Half-Yearly sale and ordered myself a new dress and new gold hoops. The icing on the cake is that Nordstrom always has free shipping and returns.
{three}
I made Natalie's Tuscan Chicken Cakes over Arugula last night and OMG they were amazing. Cameron said they tasted like they came from a restaurant and I couldn't agree more. They'd be great to serve to a small dinner party not only because they taste great, but because you pre-make the cakes in advance.
{four}
I've been eyeing these pillow covers from West Elm since before Christmas. They finally went on sale last week so I bit the bullet. I'm trying to bring in more color to our nothing but tan and brown living room. I think I want to add an orange lumbar pillow in the middle but am having a hard time deciding on one.
{five}
We're celebrating two 30th birthdays this weekend - Alicia's and Caroline's. Celebrating birthdays in general is always fun, but celebrating milestone birthdays takes it up a notch. Cameron's is less than a month away and his party is going to be awesome! Can't wait!
Hope you all have a great weekend!!
At first I scoffed at how pricy those candles are. Then I received one as a gift and holy moly! The scent does fill up a room! I am going to try those Tuscan Chicken Cakes.
ReplyDeletePretty dress and earrings!
Love that pillow!! That will be really pretty with the lumbar pillow! Love the dress too, I've been debating on a maxi at Nordstrom and I think I just need to commit already. haha! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteIm gonna put those cakes on my to-make list! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThose Capri candles are amazing and volcano is my favorite too. Natalie has some awesome recipes she shares and I love cooking them! It is funny that we both chose one last night and both had them with arugula salads! Great minds think alike :)
ReplyDeleteI've been on the lookout for a good candle - I may have to invest. And I can't wait to try those chicken cakes!

ReplyDeleteLove the dress and those gold hoops! i want some gold hoops and those are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally with you on the Volcano candle- it's kinda life changing. If you ever need a new scent, Anthropologie sells a whipped cream and pear candle- it really might beat Volcano (something that I didn't think was possible). :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Volcano is my favorite candle! I love it! Have you tried Archipelago's Charleston candle? I bought it last weekend in the market to remind me of my bachelorette weekend. xo
ReplyDeleteIt's probably a good thing I didn't even look at the Nordstrom site this week. You inspired me to pay off some credit cards & that would have definitely ruined it ;)
