Weekend Recap!

Whew, what a weekend! Most of it was spent at work and while I am so thankful everything went well, I am SO glad it's over!

 

Let's see a recap, shall we?

 

Friday I didn't have to be to work until lunch time so I went to the DMV and officially got my name changed!

 

After that, I had a little time to kill so I went to the J.Crew outlet and sat right outside their door until they opened at 10am. They were having a sale 50% off of the whole store!

 

I walked out with two tees and a pair of bright pink matchstick jeans, which I mistook for toothpick jeans, so I will have to go back tomorrow or Wednesday to exchange those. Dangit.

 

Worked Friday night blah blah blah. Woke up bright and early Saturday and headed back to work. I was in charge of our annual member event this year for 500 people! Talk about busy and stressed! I felt like I was planning our wedding all over again! Luckily, the event went very smoothly and I received nothing but compliments!

 

Sunday, Cameron and I ran some cloudy day errands and grabbed a lunch with Emily & David at Mex 1! It was a nice surprise because we walked in and there they were! So we just joined them.

Went by Cameron's grandparents house to show them the wedding video trailer and honeymoon pictures.

Then, after 2.5 years, we (ok, Cameron) finally installed towel bars in our master bathroom!

Friday Five.

-My bridal portraits yesterday were SO fun! My photographer, Juliet, is amazing. My mom, sister, bff Emily and pup, Brady, joined in on the fun, too! I'm so glad that they were there to help me and I can't wait to see the results!!

-We received our first wedding present yesterday! What a nice surprise!

-I don't get to celebrate any Halloween fun this weekend because surprise, surprise, I'll be at work, but I can't wait to see what everyone dresses up as! Today, Emily and a couple of her teacher friends dressed up as "Candy Rappers." She may kill me for putting this pic on my blog, but I think it's hilarious!

-Can't wait to try Katie's baked ziti next week!

-Tonight my event is a welcome party and I am LOVING the decor!

 

 

 

 

 

Happy weekend, friends!!

Working Weekend + Weekly Menu.

This past weekend kicked off my crazy 5 weeks of work events. I work every single Friday night from last Friday until November 2nd, and every Saturday night (except for one!) until October 27th. One week, I have 5 events! Yikes. On the upside, I'll get to sleep in a lot and will have a lot of weekdays off to get wedding things done!

The ceremony was held on the beach and then the reception was inside, upstairs.

 This week's menu isn't that exciting. I'm trying to clean out the fridge and freezer.

Monday - Mustard fried venison, yellow rice, salad

Tuesday - French dip sandwiches with sweet potato fries, salad

Wednesday - CSA starts back! Packet fish with assorted veggies, salad

Thursday - Homemade pizza with toppings of whatever I can find in the fridge and salad

Friday -Megan working, Cameron out of town

Saturday - Megan working, Cameron out of town

Sunday -  Megan working
