How The Bakers Host Supper Club.

On Sunday, we hosted supper club at our house! I figured it would be the perfect time to spruce up the house a little with Fall decorations. Fresh flowers, potted mums, and a new candle were the perfect simple touches.

The way that we do our supper club, is that the host provides the main entree and everyone else will either bring an appetizer, salad, side, or dessert. This time, and probably every other time we have supper club, another option was to bring a signature drink! Cameron and I decided to grill pork tenderloin because they are relatively inexpensive for a large group, and with the help of his step-dad's marinade, Cameron has perfected the grilling part.

Menu:
Beergaritas
French bread topped with pesto/ricotta spread and fire roasted tomatoes
Mini wedge salads
Mac and cheese
Butter beans and rice
Corn, black bean, avocado, tomato salad
Grilled pork tenderloin (marinade recipe found here)
Chocolate, pretzel, peanut butter bars

A sweet moment caught between Brady and little Dallas

PS - Hiring a cleaning service to do a deep clean two days before hosting supper club was probably the best idea we've had all year!

Can't wait for next month's supper club, which will be on Halloween!
Bring on the couples costumes and peeled grape eyeballs!

Fall Fancies.

It's something we all do.
Once the end of a season starts coming to an end, we wish the rest of it away and begin obsessing about the next one! Labor Day comes and goes, pumpkin spice lattes are available again, and football games begin. The sure signs that Fall is right around the corner!

Here are some Fall outfit inspirations that have been catching my eye on Pinterest lately.

Now, bring on the cooler temps!

[Realistic] Fall Want List.

Tan Wedge Boots
[My last pair of tan boots I purchased was 3 years ago and have worn them to death. It's time to move on. I love that the wedge gives them a little more dressy feel.]
Aldo Farmar Boots
Statement Necklaces
[To mix and match with plain shirts/dresses.]
Vestique Glorious Teal Bead Necklace
Vestique Beadacious Necklace in Blue
F21 Glamourous Necklace
Anthropologie Layers of the Sea Necklace (made possible thanks to a friend who works at Free People)
Tory Burch Revas
[But I can't decide which color. I just bought a new pair of black flats last Christmas. I'm leaning towards Royal Tan - if you have a pair of tan flats, do you wear them often??]
Tory Burch Revas in Royal Tan
Blouses to wear with skinny jeans
Gap Pintuck Cowl-Back Top
Victoria's Secret Peasant Blouse
Entire Essie 2011 Fall Line
[my boss will be happy about me wearing more neutral colors on my nails.]
And a few random picks
[just because.]
Old Navy Printed Roll Up Camp Shirt in Aqua Gingham
Gap 1969 Lightweight Corduroy Leggings
Kimchi Blue Paper Bag Skirt
Michael Kors Rose Gold + Navy Watch
