Gamecock Gameday Attire.

Since yesterday marked 50 days until kickoff, I thought I'd start featuring some clothing and accessories to wear while cheering on the Gamecocks! Or I suppose you could be cheering for Alabama, Texas A&M, or FSU in garnet.

Wednesday Wishlist!

-I'm so sick of taking bathroom outfit pics so I recently added this Cheval Jewelry Armoire Mirror to my Christmas / Birthday list!

-This J.Crew Liberty scalloped bikini is so feminine and cute! It's on final sale + an extra 40% off today (code: Wednesday) so of course they're out of my size. :(

-Also on my Christmas / Birthday (yes, I realize it's only July) list, is a subscription to Cooking Light! Always looking for new dinner ideas.

Tasty Tuesday: Garden Fresh Bruschetta

Not going to lie, I've been in a recipe slump lately. Since Cameron and I haven't been eating carbs for dinner during the week, the recipes have been somewhat simple and repetitive.

I came across this recipe and could probably just eat this with a loaf of French bread for dinner.....if I ate carbs for dinner. Guess I'll have to wait until the weekend to make it. :)

Garden Fresh Bruschetta

20-24oz fresh tomatoes (4-5 roma tomatoes or 3-4 regular tomatoes) diced small

1 clove garlic minced

1/4 cup fresh basil chopped fine

2 Tbs olive oil

1 Tbs red wine vinegar

1/2 tsp each salt & pepper (or to taste)

1 baguette

Olive oil & fresh garlic for toasting

Mix all ingredients and let stand at room temperature for 2 hours.

Slice the baguette, brush with olive oil and lightly toast. Rub each toasted slice baguette with a clove of garlic.

Top with bruschetta.

My July Fourth Weekend + Giveaway Winner

Ahh the Monday after 4th of July weekend. Always such a caffeine filled and hazy day, especially after sitting in traffic this morning for 45 minutes due to a structure fire. After working July 4th, 5th, & 7th I thought for sure I'd be scheduled off today. But no, not the case. I even make the schedule! What was I thinking??

I had my fair share of fun on Saturday though, which was good enough for me!

We started by doing a little fishing on the boat, then headed to the sandbar to meet up with some friends. After that, we went to Cameron's cousin's 30th birthday bash! It was so fun! They had an inflatable slide, inflatable slip n slide, beer truck, and food truck!

The beer and food trucks were owned by Coastal Crust. The food truck served pizza, s'mores and gelato, and the beer truck served a variety of craft beer. All were super tasty!

If only my birthday weren't in December! I've always wanted a pool party!

Hump Day Giveaway!

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by A Cut Above to team up with them for a review & giveaway!

I chose the Ruffled Dream tank in white and the Pretty Little Liar necklace. I chose the top because I knew I could wear it with so many things and I just loved the ruffled neckline! The necklace I chose because I've become quite the necklace collector lately and I thought it would be perfect addition to my collection! I got so many compliments on both items when I wore them to work.
