My Dark Side + Weekend Recap.

Last Friday, after two glasses of wine to ease my nerves, I went to the dark side. I've been gradually heading that way, but those glasses of wine just made me go ahead and bite the bullet. It's a tad darker than my original hair color, which I haven't seen in quite some time. I'm still doing double-takes when I look in the mirror.

Friday night, our plans got changed due to the weather, so we decided to go out to dinner at the Fat Hen with a group of friends. The wait was an hour long, but we were easily distracted by the cutest little girl, named Katie Ruth. She's my friend, Lyndsey's (far left), 3 year old daughter and she was the most well-behaved little thing.

Katie Ruth also brushed up on her photography skills while we were waiting on our table.

After Dinner, Caroline (she's back to blogging!), Andy, Cameron, and I went to a hidden gem on Johns Island called Seanachai's. Some of the best drinks I've ever had because they are made with the freshest ingredients. If you ever happen to go, get the mojito!

Saturday we had a full day of birthday celebrations. First up, we celebrated Leah's 29th birthday celebration at her and her husband's house, complete with a food truck! Had one of the best brisket sandwiches I've ever tasted.

Next up was Dallas's 2nd birthday party - Curious George themed!

Hair.

Thanks to my homegirl, Kady, I've got a new haircut and no more disgusting black roots! :)

I posted this pic last week as my inspiration and while it's not as dark as her's, by choice, and not as voluminus, not by choice, mine looks very similar!

Bridesmaid Hair Debate.

For Katie's wedding this weekend, I'm leaving it up to the professionals to make my hair look like a celeb's as I walk down the aisle. As always, I am really bad at making decisions so I need yall's help picking out a 'do!

As a reminder, here is the dress I'll be wearing..

In this color...

Here are some choices that I've printed out to bring to the salon. Keep in mind that I have very fine hair that won't hold a curl longer than 5 minutes. I've also got a side part and bangs that usually stay tucked behind my ears. Hate having hair in my face. Don't like it too poofy. I sound like so much fun to work with, huh?!?

Now that I look at them all side-by-side, they kind of all look the same. Haha! I'm leaning towards #2 (LC) though..a little relaxed, not too "perfect."

Hair Dilemma - Let's Take Another Vote!

Since yall were so helpful with helping me pick out a dress last week for Kady's wedding, I thought I'd ask yall to help me again! This time, it's deciding on a hair color. You see, I went last Saturday to get my roots fixed and ending up walking out with hair this color....

I call this color: Dirty Dishwater or Ashy Elbow

And it's not anyone's fault but my own! Kady is actually who I go to to get my hair done and she will tell you that I am the most decisive / indecisive client. I'll think I know what I want, when in reality, I really don't.

She colored it a similar color about a year and a half ago and at first I hated it, and then it grew on me..

So, she's fitting me in her schedule on Friday so I can fix it. I need to know from YALL - dark brown for the winter or back to blonde? Brown will be easier on my wallet because I won't have to upkeep it as much, but I *know* I'll like it blonde. Decisions, decisions...
