Our Trip to Meet Greyson!

On Monday I took the day off from work to go on a little road trip with Emily and Katie to meet Baby Greyson and visit with his momma, KA, in Bluffton!

We all commented on how calm it was there! Greyson is such a sweet, quiet, and not to mention, adorable little guy! We passed him around all day, got to feed him, and witness a diaper change. Haha! Both Emily & Katie are preg so they loved seeing everything first hand.

Can't wait to hold him again next month!

Weekending.

What a wonderful weekend we had! It was such a fun one and I'm already looking forward to the next one, naturally.

Friday night we started it off with supper club at our house! I made lasagna and other people brought the usual accompaniments like garlic bread and Caesar salad.
Caroline made cannolis. SO good!
The girls..and JANA!
Saturday we were moving a little slow, but we made it on the boat eventually and met up with Jason and Jessica at "No Name Island" (the island next to Morris for all of you locals). It was so relaxing and quiet, quite a difference from Morris. It also had the best views.

We showered up after the boat and went out for a surprise birthday dinner and drinks for our friend, Justin!
Justin, Joe, Cameron, James

Sadly, I did have to work on Sunday and Jana had to go back home to Raleigh. :(
But good times were had by all!

Babies, Babies Everywhere!

TGIF! We have a great weekend planned and I cannot wait for it to begin! Supper club, boating, a birthday celebration, and a Jana visit!

On to the exciting news! I have two for you today!

Wednesday morning, I received a group text from my friend KA letting us know that she was in the hospital and awaiting the arrival of Baby Greyson! We received updates throughout the day...and then it was quiet for a few hours. Then around 5pm, we received a text that Baby Greyson was born at 3:19pm and we saw him for the first time!
Mommy and baby are doing great and get to leave the hospital tomorrow! A few of us are driving to Hilton Head on Monday to meet Baby G for the first time and are SO excited!!
Their first selfie.
---------------------------------------------
The second big news is that...........

MY BEST FRIEND (AND MnOH) IS PREGNANT!!!

I'm so glad that I can finally go public and say that Emily and David are expecting in early February! She is 14 weeks today (but that is an old pic below).

She has been feeling great (no morning sickness) and I am so excited to find out what they will be having! I have also been demanding requesting weekly bump pics.

I literally know atleast 10 pregnant people right now. Moving on from weddings to baby showers!

Have a great weekend, y'all!

Friday Five.

It's finally the day we look forward to alllll week! FRIDAY!! Hopefully the rain is gone for a while.

Here's what's been making me happy this week..

{1} I asked multiple people, including family, friends, and Instagram followers, how they preferred the styling of my new PB chair and Option A is what the majority liked. Which is good, because this was my favorite, as well! And it will look even better once that plant grows!

More house updates to come soon!

{2} Attention all Starbucks iced coffee addicts! I found this at Harris Teeter yesterday on sale for only $4.79! It serves 6 - 8oz drinks. It also comes in vanilla and mocha!

{3} Last night I went to an industry party with my friend Alicia (who is the catering manager for the awesome company that catered our wedding) hosted by Event DRS and Icebox, local event rental and bartending service sister companies. There were five different caterers set up and three bars with different specialty drinks. It's safe to say we stuffed our faces.
Chocolate cupcakes with salted caramel icing and candied bacon pieces, Charleston Mule, + Pork tenderloin with succotash

{4} Shameless plug, but have you checked out my blog sale yet? There are still a few items available!

{5} Going to Freshfields again tonight to see one of our favorite bands in Charleston - The Travis Allison band! They've actually played at a couple of our friends weddings, including Emily & David's!

Happy weekend, everyone!
