Wedding Wednesday: Save the Dates!

When I began to look at Save the Dates, I had a few details in mind that I knew I wanted. I wanted it to be a postcard because duh, postage is cheaper and every little penny counts in wedding planning, and I wanted it to have one of our engagement pictures on it.

Here are a few that were in the running:

Classic styles that I was also drawn to:

Since I sent the Save the Dates out last Friday and everyone should have received theirs by now, I can share the one we wound up choosing! Drumroll please............

Snippet of the back:

Rather than writing the return address on each postcard, I ordered a self inking stamp from this Etsy store!

I was really happy with my experience with Wedding Paper Divas. Their response and shipping times were super fast! WPD is always running some kind of special so I waited for the right time to order and scored a 20% off coupon code!

  2. they are so cute! We sent magnets for save the dates and they were so expensive to mail cause of their weight! I did send christmas cards out last year as postcards and it was the best decision ever!!

  8. Very cute! I wanted to do postcards as well, and am wondering if you noticed they got messed up during mailing? We received a postcard STD and it was all torn up, which is what I'm afraid of!

  12. How exciting to have your save the dates sent! My matron of honor just graduated with a graphic design major so she is designing my paper materials for the wedding and I'm in turn helping her start her business. I cannot wait to see what she comes up with, but I am also doing a postcard.
