Confession.

I did something totally unacceptable on Saturday.
I wore purple to the Clemson game.
(hanging my head in shame)
I feel like a traitor.
I'm ashamed.
I feel dirty.
And I'm nervous for when my family and friends read this post.

I had on my black dress, ready to walk out the door and then Cameron gave me this long schpeal about how we had these awesome seats in the middle of all IPTAY members blah blah blah and after fighting it for what felt like 10 solid minutes, I caved.
BUT after he shook hands on a promise that he would wear black to the USC / Auburn game next weekend, I felt a tiny bit better.

I did have a great weekend up in Clemson and Cameron's friends weren't too hard on me. Plus, I got to go back to the tailgate after the game and watch Carolina beat Vandy (even found a few fellow Carolina fans!).
Jason, James, Cameron

Jenny and Dan were at the game, too! Jenny's jaw dropped to the ground when she saw what I was wearing.

He was a happy guy to be back in his stadium.

This made me happy. :)

  3. Don't worry, I wore purple to a Clemson game once too. I justified it by saying that purple is my favorite color, afterall. It didn't mean I was pulling for Clemson, just wearing a great color!

  7. Haha, house divided indeed! You look great in that purple dress - and ya'll are adorable together. There is nothing like a tailgate for a Southern school where peole actually dress up & look cute! No school t-shirts and tennis shoes for us, nuh-uh!

  8. you looked so pretty in that purple though! sure you don't wanna switch? ha ha jk :) I know I won't go there with you. Our house is divided too..not in college football, but NFL. Billy roots for the Browns and I root for the Bengals. It's ok though bc both of our teams are AWFUL.

I told Jess who's visiting me this wknd that she's not allowed to wear a cute dress like all you southern girls do to tailgate b/c here we don't get that fancy HAHA she would outshine me! ;)

  10. Loved that when I scrolled down to the bottom of the post that you had "Traitor" as one of your labels. So the purple...I am a Razorback alumni and fan all the way...but going on a mini trip with a good friend and rival LSU fan and she wants to go to their game this weekend. I do NOT think I can wear anything purple. It's like selling my soul to the devil. ;)

  11. Hey, at least the dress was super cute! It makes up for the "bad" color you had to wear :)

  12. haha! This made me laugh! I went to Tallahassee last weekend to see some friends and tailgate the FSU vs. OU game and they would not let me wear any FL orange and blue. So I wore pink with a white shirt. I SO badly wanted to wear a gator shirt. You were braver than I!

    xoxo.
