Holy Cow!

I didn't expect today to be very exciting, except for my work Christmas party later on tonight. I have to work until 4pm, the rain made it even harder to get out of bed this morning and I got some not-so-great news last night. 

So I get to work and start my normal routine: check work email, check personal email, check bank account, read blogs, etc. The posts labeled "Giveaway Winner!" naturally catch my eye and those are typically the ones I read first. I don't expect to win and typically don't..but today was different. 

Y'all. I won not one, not two, but THREE giveaways today! I am not usually one of those lucky people, but today they were all in my favor! God must know that I'm not looking forward to my birthday in eleven days and this was his way of cheering me up! 

So, rather than rambling on, I'll show you all of the goodies I won!

First up, Let's Be Preppy (a fellow Gamecock!) gave away stuff for 5 days and I was her Day 2 winner. Lifeguard Press has teamed up with Lilly Pulitzer and gave away some school supplies (not exactly sure what though). Surprises are my favorite!

Second, Kristin and Megan over at Bon Bon Rose Girls always have the BEST giveaways. I've been dying to win one of theirs for months now and it finally happened! Two winners were actually announced today and get this: their names were Megan (me, duh.) and Krysten! That's freaky. Krysten won a $100 gift card to Crate and Barrel and I won a $100 American Express gift card! This could have come at a more perfect time because yesterday I had to buy a new tire for my car. Never fun having to get your car fixed, especially around Christmas time. 

And last but not least, A Southern Belle's Guide to to Life & Style was giving away a Philosophy lip gloss in either "Have a Cherry Christmas" or "Vanilla Birthday Cake." I've never been a huge fan of cherry anything so naturally I chose the vanilla birthday cake flavor. A girl can never have too many lip glosses. Also with the lipgloss, she is sending a surprise! Can't wait to see what it is!

Well, it's about that time to shut down my computer and clock out! Going to get my makeup done and get dressed up for the party! Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend! :)
