Today I confess..
...I woke up an hour early this morning because a grocery store that was going out of business was having a 50% off sale so I wanted to stop by before work. I get there about 10 minutes early, expecting the parking lot to be packed - it was empty. I checked the Facebook post again only to find out I was at the wrong location. Fail.
...I'm convinced that turning my AC off in my car will save gas. Does anyone know if this is actually true?
..Often times I will spend an hour in the gym, only to come home and stuff my face with chips, soda, etc.
...I will spend $4 on 6 pita pockets, but try to find the cheapest wheat bread possible and spend $7 on pickled okra at the farmer's market, but won't spend $4 on them at the grocery store. Just doesn't make sense.
...I drank way too much wine at Kristen & Cal's wedding Friday night.
What do you confess on this Monday?
Man... I am bad about working out and then drinking a glass of wine right after. Not really logical at all :)
ReplyDeleteOMG I'm the same with the gas!!! haha

I've heard that about the AC, but I don't know if it's true. Probably has some truth to it, but maybe not enough for you to tell the difference long term.
ReplyDeleteYou're supposed to drink too much wine at weddings. It's a must! ;)
My husband is right there with you on the AC - and I'll confess, it drives me crazy!
ReplyDeleteMy Mom always told me AC wastes gas so I've always turned it off if I'm getting low on gas. Theo thinks that's absolutely ridiculous and doesn't make a difference. So who knows!? Probably should look it up one day!
ReplyDeleteI've always wondered the same thing about gas and AC. Need to research that one. My confession is along the lines of your last one. Too many beverages were consumed Saturday in Athens. Must remember that I don't have the tolerance like I used to in college.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I've heard that running the AC doesn't affect your gas so drastically you shouldn't seat your a- off. And I confess that there is leftover Mello Mushroom in the office kitchen and I'm biding my time to swipe some when no one is looking.
ReplyDeleteRunning the ac does use more gas!
ReplyDeleteThat sucks about the grocery store! It made me chuckle though that would be my sort of luck!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the Pig. I heard the one that was on sale was pure chaos!
ReplyDeleteI am the same way at the farmer's market. I paid $6 for a jar of jam but wouldn't even think of doing the same thing at the store.
ReplyDeletehahah umm im the same way about working out. its nice to do a little extra cardio to justify something sweet :) xo jillian - cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteI was told a few years ago that running the ac on the highest setting all the time uses up about 25% of your fuel. The AC in my first car only worked on high and someone told me this when I mentioned that. Not sure if it is true or not but it makes sense.
