Good morning and TGIF! Linking up today with the girls of 5 on Friday. Write your own Friday Five post and link up with everyone!
Here are some things that have made / are making me happy this week!
Sweet surprise from Shelby
Last weekend I came home to a package at the front door. Immediately my mind says, "I don't remember ordering anything..but maybe I did?" And Cameron's all like, "what'd you order now??" So I open it up, and there is a cute little pickle wine stopper in there from my sweet and thoughtful friend, Shelby!
Dannon Greek blends yogurt
Confession: Whenever I buy Greek yogurt, I buy the kind that is on the best sale ($1 or less each). There isn't really a brand that we've come across that we haven't liked yet....well, except Stoneyfield. These Dannon Light & Fit Greek Blends were on sale last grocery store visit and we are hooked! My favorite has been the key lime pie and Cameron's has been the toasted coconut (below).
Hair appointment
I have a hair appointment tomorrow morning and I am SO excited. These roots are just awful and my hair looks/feels super stringy when it's this long. I'm thinking about moving ever so slightly to the darker side.
These are some pictures I've pinned for inspiration...
Old Navy sale
Old Navy is having a great sale right now and on top of their sale items, you can get an extra 20% off with the code ONTREAT. And don't forget to go through Ebates so you can earn cash back!
Meeting up with April
April from A.Liz Adventures is visiting Charleston this weekend for a wedding and we are meeting up for the first time tomorrow morning! She has one of those blogs that I read on a daily basis and email back and forth with on a regular basis. I just have a feeling like it's going to be old friends meeting up rather than meeting a "stranger" for the first time. :)
Might have to check out old navy! Their jeweled sweatshirts recently are adorable!
ReplyDeleteThe pickle wine stopper, LOVE! That's such a cute little gift surprise! And I'm the same way with Greek yogurt... Usually whatever is on sale is the way to go! I'll have to try that kind, though! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your hair! I love all your inspiration pics!
ReplyDeleteThat was so sweet of Shelby! She's always so thoughtful! I always think about going darker with my hair too and then when I do, and I'm talking a few low lights in, not a big deal at all, I always think it's too dark and end up going lighter next time! I'm sure whatever you decide to do will look great! That's so cool you're meeting April! I love her blog!
ReplyDeleteI actually have that pickle wine stopper and it works really great in champagne bottles too (keeps it pretty bubbly for a day or so if you can't finish the whole bottle!)...and I'm really loving the semi-darker blonde for fall! xo
ReplyDeleteThe pickle wine stopped is awesome and so perfectly you! Have so much fun meeting April this weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove the Dannon blends - It made my Friday 5 today too! ...and the pickle is great!
ReplyDeleteYay for fun pickle finds that are useful :) Can't wait to see how your hair looks! I bit the bullet when it was just 15% off at ON. That 20% is so tempting though... Have a great weekend, love!
ReplyDeleteLove that hair color. Try the key lime and coconut by Chobani. So good!!
ReplyDeleteHey Megan... just randomly found your blog on BlogLovin but that led me to the 5 on Friday link up which I want to try! Just thought I'd let ya know. Haha. Also, your site it really cute, although I don't know whether I clicked your BlogLovin link because of the layout or just because I also love pickles. ;) Anyway, sorry to be a bit of a blog creep. Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteEeeeeek so, SO excited for tomorrow! I hope it hurries up and gets here SOON!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love that coconut vanilla yogurt! I'll have to try the key lime next time
ReplyDeleteLove the wine stopper.. I also need to check out the Old Navy Sale!!! Found your blog on link up party
ReplyDeleteWe have been the same way with yogurt!! I recently tried the Yoplait 100, and love the Lemon and Key Lime flavors!
