I would like to start by saying that the thing I'm loving the most today is the fact that I'm writing this post from my couch. Ahhh I love event days when I get to lounge around in the mornings and don't have to be to work until late afternoon.
Pumpkin bread and coffee for breakfast. |
Last Friday, Cameron and I had a lunch date at Olympik and then got our passport pictures taken at CVS. I thought they turned out pretty well! We go next Thursday to actually apply for the passports. Didn't realize how expensive they were! Yuck.

I'm loving that the Fall CSA has started...but I wasn't impressed at all with the first weeks veggies. Especially when comparing to Christina's. I'm thinking next year we're going to switch farms.
Missing two of the rotted squash that we threw away. |
I'm LOVING that I FINALLY got an email from Hana asking if I'd like to review one of their straighteners. Um, a free straightener?? Yes please! I received the package in the mail this week and I can't wait to try it out later today!
And finally, I'm loving all of the excitement and anticipation regarding the #6 South Carolina vs. #5 Georgia game this weekend! It is going to be an exciting game and while I will not be there, I will be cheering extra loud from Kiawah! ESPN'S Gameday will be in Columbia which will add even more excitement! GO COCKS!!

There will also be a special guest on Saturday's Gameday...
Can't wait!!
Happy Friday!!
Oh man, there are some good football games this weekend. I will be cheering for the Gamecocks, though!
ReplyDeleteGosh I want that bread right now. Your passport photo is SO GOOD! How are you so tan and glowy? That's a new work. The adjective of glowing I guess. Ha! And yes, it's time to switch CSAs. I wish you lived closer to me so I could give you some of mine. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI have to go renew my passport soon since I got married and changed my name, and I am not looking forward to paying that huge fee!!
ReplyDeleteAnd even though I'm actually a born-and-raised Vols fan {Yes, we suck. Yes, it's a rough life. And yes, I'm loyal to the core :)}, I'll be rooting for the Gamecocks over UGA this weekend! I went to high school in Hilton Head so there's a little bit of SC lovin' in there.
Oooo, love Darius Rucker, he's playing at the Opry next week and I hope I get to go!
ReplyDeleteYou're supposed to have both ears clearly visible in your passport pic. That being said, Mine weren't either, and we both have really amazing passport pictures :)
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of that rule before.
DeleteDarius is one of my favorites, but it really hurts me that he's a gamecock fan. GO DAWGS! :)
ReplyDeleteI got the Hana straightener a couple of days ago too! What do you think about that weird angel ornament?! HAH!
ReplyDeleteI am in shock they let you smile! Mine is a total mugshot. They had to redo my pic like 4 times, because I was giggling, trying not to smile!! Jealous of your straightener!!
ReplyDeleteMy friend, Jenny, also said that they wouldn't let her smile. So weird.
DeleteMegan - be sure to take your LONG birth certificate...I took the short version(without your parents name) and they won't except it.
ReplyDeleteI love that sparkly top!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of passports, I still have got to get my name changed on mine...it's only been four years. I missed our farmers' market again this week! I always remember the day after. And football, ugh, I can't even discuss it this season. Have a wonderful weekend! xo
ReplyDeleteThe straightener was a fun get. I was super excited about that email too! I had been waiting. I need to join a farmshare, but it seems like they deliver weird things that I can't use sometimes. And that top is great! Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteYour passport pictures turned out really good....mine is HORRIBLE!
ReplyDeletelove your jcrew necklace!!
